Brief description
Describing himself as “a citizen of the world with one land in his heart and a thousand others in his eyes,” Andrea Mariani is the creator and co-founder of the TAKE ME BACK project, as well as vice president of the affiliated Solidarity Couriers ONLUS. He has actively contributed to all major humanitarian missions in places such as Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Tanzania, working alongside Antonio Di Leonardo.
In addition to his passion for humanitarian initiatives, Andrea has extensive experience in the multi-brand sports apparel retail sector as a store manager at Game 7 Athletics. An avid reader and creative writer, he also has a deep love for hiking and climbing.
Not only did she write, produce, and star in the film*Serendip*, which was shot during a trip to Sri Lanka in 2017, but she also saw her work make its way to Netflix, where it is still available. As the mastermind behind the project, Andrea oversaw the naming of the project and the titles of the films produced.
His latest project is the film*Safara*, which he conceived, produced, and starred in, and which was shot during his mission to Tanzania in 2019. The film is currently in the running to be screened at major national and international film festivals.
