One notebook at a time: a mission for the children of Chiang Mai

Mattia, our Solidarity Courier, is in Thailand at the Srinehru School in Chiang Mai, a school that serves 114 children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded to provide a quality education to children in local communities, the Srinehru School does more than just teach; it serves as a hub for the entire community, with a particular focus on the education and care of children.

Through a new fundraising campaign, we aim to provide them with the supplies they urgently need: notebooks, pens, crayons, backpacks, books, dictionaries, and hygiene products. In a world where access to basic supplies can be a privilege, education is the key to a better future.

That’s why we want to buy everything from local businesses, thereby supporting the local economy as well. But that’s not all: if we exceed our fundraising goal, we’ll be able to donate a computer and an internet connection to the school—something that’s part of our daily lives, but for them represents a true revolution. Imagine the potential of these children with access to the internet: endless resources for learning and growing!
