From January 19 to February 2, 2025, the Solidarity Couriers Anthea, Dilaksion, Cinthia, Kerri Ann, and Sara had an extraordinary experience in the heart of Sri Lanka. Amid ancient traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and authentic encounters, every stage of the journey left a deep impression, enriching their journey with emotions and new insights. But the most moving moment came with the delivery of aid, transforming the journey into something even greater: a concrete gesture of hope and solidarity.
The heart of the mission: a gift for the future
Arrival at school MO/Kandahena No. 2 Tamil Vidyalayam was greeted with enthusiastic smiles and eyes full of curiosity. Thanks to the support of donors, 65 students received the school supplies they needed to make the most of the year: notebooks, pencils, crayons, rulers, pens, and even calculators. Each kit was not just a material aid, but a symbol of opportunity, a small building block for a better future.
At that moment, amid the children’s joy and their families’ gratitude, the Corrieri Solidali realized the true meaning of their journey: to leave a lasting impact and bring about change.
